Take a look at this sample itinerary for ideas to help you get started.
Days 1-2 Arrive in Nelson. We pick you up from the airport and help you get acclimatized. Enjoy a short walkon the beach or visit great cafes and galleries.

Days 3-5 Explore nearby Abel Tasman National Park by sea kayak followed by a coastal path walk.
Days 6-7 Wander through the Marlborough Sounds, famous for its quiet coves and beautiful native forest.
Days 8-9 Ride a scenic train following the rugged coastline, stopping for some whale watching or a dolphin swimming.
Days 10-12 Cross the mighty Southern Alps and head south on the wild West Coast scenic route, stopping for glacier and rainforest hiking.

Days 13-14 Hit the adventure capital of Queenstown. Jet boating, Sky diving, Rafting…
