New Zealand Travel Designers is a small boutique travel business. Whether you are on honeymoon, seeking adventure in the outdoors or wanting to relax, our mission is to combine our wide knowledge of years exploring New Zealand, with your aspiration to create a beautiful holiday. We are dedicated to quality, keeping ourselves small enough to tailor make every journey.

WE OFFER TWO UNIQUE SERVICES
‘Independent Travel Itinerary’ - This is for those who want to make the most of our creative experience whilst looking after the finer details yourself. Having listened to your ideas, we consult with you to map out your perfect holiday, planning and suggesting options unknown by larger travel companies. We take the hassle out of your vacation by advising you on the best places to go and things to do. We provide a day to day plan, you then make all the bookings. This option is great for people with lots of time, who enjoy being flexible. There is a small fee for this service.
‘Taking care of Everything’ - This is for those of you who wish to be totally looked after, we dedicate ourselves to listening and sharing our experience to create a one off itinerary. Once your itinerary has been finalized we make bookings at our carefully selected quality accommodations, along with transport and activities to match your preferences and budget. Your holiday is our primary focus, we work with a handful of clients each year to allow us plenty of time to get it just right. Once your bookings are complete the final detailed itinerary includes; reconfirmed accommodations, transport and activities along with recommended restaurants, must do’s in each region, directions and maps.

Once you arrive in New Zealand, we're on call to answer any questions or help with last minute changes. We take care to make sure everything is organized.
You can trust us to make your reservations for accommodations, transport and activities because we've been there. We personally check out destinations and accommodations throughout New Zealand to offer you direct travel advice.
We can provide you with additional information including expected costs within New Zealand, currency, climate, what to bring, culture, health and safety. If you have any questions, we get you the answers!
Flights – We can book your international flights and travel insurance for you, let us know your proposed dates and we will give you a competitive quote.
Your option to MEET AND GREET
Upon arrival in New Zealand you will receive a friendly face and a warm welcome. We encourage you to start your journey in Nelson, where we pick you up from the airport, orient you to New Zealand and share a few of our local secrets. Nelson in our view is a honey pot of creativity; it hosts arts, crafts, fresh foods, wineries, national parks, golden beaches… It has more than its fair share of natural beauty and that includes plenty of sunshine. We appreciate this is not always possible so we can arrange airport transfer in other locations and your booking folder will be at your first nights accommodation..
